In the beginning everything was easy - there was the Internet with four computers, and each of the Admins knew the others, so security was not a big issue. Today everybody who connects a computer with a network should seriously think about the security of the system.

There is one easy solution - just power down the system, and it is protected against attacks from viruses, worms and other dangers in the net.
